What other licenses do you need if you do specific business?

In China, most foreigners do trading import and export business. They will ask for shipping companies to help them transfer the goods. However, there is an export tax return. Export tax return means your company buys goods from supplier. They have already paid the tax. In the export field, they don’t need to pay any tax. After they export the goods, they have tax return within one year from the government. But if your company wants export tax return, you need to have an import and export license. How much tax do you need to pay?

Corporation income tax 25%

VAT is 17% if you are general tax payer; and 3% if you are small company tax payer

What about accounting?

China company accounting is done by month. You need to provide bank balance sheet, bank slips and invoices original for book keeping.

What about annual return?

China company annual return is different from most of countries. You need to authorize an audit bureau to give you audit report and tax report.
