New China Work Visa System You Must Know

We believe that many of you know there are new policies for foreigners working visa in China. The exact executive date is on April 1, 2017. There are pilot applications from October 2016 to March 2017 in Guangdong and other provinces in China. Now let’s see what the specific policies are.

1. The Foreign Experts Work Permit and The Foreigners Employment License are combined as Notification Letter of Foreigner’s Work Permit. Foreign Expert Certificate and Foreigners Employment Permit are combined as Foreigner’s Work Permit. After April 1, 2017, you will receive Notification Letter of Foreigner’s Work Permit and Foreigner’s Work Permit.

2. The implementation of foreigners to work in China will be in an ABC classification management with implementing the "encourage high-end, control in general, limit the low-end" principle. The following table lists the classification criteria for the "Standard Compliance Method" and the "Point Integration Method".

Under the new policies, it is clear in the implementation plan that China will implement measures of quantitative restrictions on foreigners who come to work in China among which with no applications limit for Classification A, limit according to the market for Classification B and Strict implementation of quota management for Classification C.

Guangzhou Company Registration

Guangzhou government has issued new policy for Guangzhou company registration. In the past, you needed to provide passport and bank reference letter orginal to register a company in Guangzhou and it took at least one month and a half to apply for it. However, it takes about 3 weeks to finish the process of registering a Guangzhou Company from now on and you only need to provide your passport original if you are in Guangzhou. Of course, an office address is still needed to register a Guangzhou Company

Guangzhou Driving License

Guangzhou driving license is an important license if you want to drive in Guangzhou China. Guangzhou China doesn’t accept international driving license therefore foreigners must apply for Guangzhou driving license if you want to drive in Guangzhou China. So how to apply for it?

First of all, it is important that you need to TAKE A TEST BY YOURSELF if you want to apply for the driving license. The test takes 1 day and you can get the license on the same day.

Second, you need to provide the following documents in order to get a Guangzhou Driving License:

*Original Home Country Driving License

*Original Passport

*Driving License Photos as well as photo receipt original

*Physical Exam Report original

*Temporary Residence Form original

Third, in order to apply for Guangzhou driving license, you need to have a visa with validity date 3 months or above and you can stay in China for more than 90 days each time. If your visa is one year multiple visa and you can stay in China for 30 days each time, you can not apply for the Guangzhou driving license.

China Working Visa
